Côte d’Ivoire seizes assets of 29 individuals linked to terrorism

The Ministry of Finance and Budget of Cote d’Ivoire has published a blacklist of 29 people whose assets were seized by the State for their roles or links to acts of terrorism. The list includes foreigners living on Ivorian soil.

This decision follows an in-depth investigation conducted by the Ivorian authorities.

The 29 are accused of various serious offences, namely: financing terrorism and participation in terrorist groups. Among the accused are 15 Burkinabes, 7 Ivorians, 5 Malians, One Gambian, and One Mauritanian.
