In Côte d’Ivoire, campaigns for the October 25 presidential election are intensifying as candidates court voters across the country and abroad. During a rally in Divo, RHDP campaign director and Koumassi MP Adjaratou Traoré-Coulibaly described President Alassane Ouattara as “the architect of modern Côte d’Ivoire.”

She praised the incumbent leader for fostering stability, reconstruction, and economic growth, likening his achievements to those of the country’s founding president, Félix Houphouët-Boigny. Traoré-Coulibaly, who also leads the PE-ADO movement, urged citizens to back Ouattara for continuity and progress.

Meanwhile, in Paris, supporters of opposition candidate Ahoua Don Mello organized a major rally of the Ivorian diaspora. Movement leaders, including Koré Moussa Michel Mognon and Victor Achy, called on Ivorians abroad to support Don Mello’s vision for inclusive development.

Five candidates are vying for the presidency, including Alassane Ouattara, Simone Ehivet, Ahoua Don Mello, Jean-Louis Billon, and Henriette Lagou — as the nation braces for a decisive election day.
