The African Peoples Party – Côte d’Ivoire (PPA-CI) has called for the immediate dissolution of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), labeling it a “danger to peace.”
At a press conference in Abidjan, party executive Sébastien Dano Djédjé criticized the CEI’s refusal to revise the electoral list ahead of the upcoming presidential elections.
The opposition insists that a new voter registration process is necessary to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
