Côte d’Ivoire’s Foreign Minister Léon Kacou Adom has assured that the country is prepared for its presidential election set for October.

Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of President Alassane Ouattara, Adom emphasized political progress while reaffirming the government’s commitment to a peaceful and credible vote.

He also used the occasion to call for stronger multilateralism and urgent reforms of the UN Security Council, stressing Africa’s need for fairer representation.
