In Côte d’Ivoire, nearly 90,000 refugees who fled violence in Burkina Faso are receiving much-needed humanitarian support.
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) launched the initiative to assist asylum seekers, refugees, and host communities in northern Côte d’Ivoire.
Officials say the effort reflects ECOWAS’s commitment to finding regional solutions to displacement and humanitarian crises in West Africa.
