Legislative elections held on December 27 in Côte d’Ivoire have been annulled in several constituencies.

The Constitutional Council announced the decision late last week after reviewing petitions submitted by a number of candidates.

The Independent Electoral Commission now has 30 days to organise fresh elections in the affected constituencies.
