In a bid to elevate Africa to become the world’s primary food producer, a $100 million financing initiative has been introduced to support ongoing efforts to enhance food security on the continent.
The initiative, named Re-Gain, was launched by The Green Climate Fund (GCF) and AGRA during the African Heads of States Food Systems Session at the COP28 in Dubai.
Re-Gain aims to improve African smallholders’ access to technologies.
