In our community report, we throw the spotlight on one of Ghana’s most visited communities by tourists from all walks of life in the Volta region.
It is predominately a farming community known for its rich historical tales and tourism potential in the region.

Situated in the Afadjato South district with a population of 73,146 people in Hohoe municipality, the community boasts of notable tourist sites such as the famous mountain Afadja, Wli and Tagbo waterfalls, as well as the sacred and rare species of Mona Monkeys sanctuary among others.
