In Benin, army chiefs from Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, and France convened in Cotonou for a high-level conference on security cooperation.
Organised by Benin’s Chief of General Staff, the meeting aims to strengthen regional security coordination and address emerging threats along the coast.
Attending officials include the Ivorian Army Chief and his French counterpart, highlighting the multinational approach to security in West Africa.
The talks are expected to focus on joint operations, intelligence sharing, and strategies to safeguard coastal and border regions.
