Chadian President Marshal Idriss Déby Itno arrived in Ouagadougou on Friday to attend the 29th edition of FESPACO, where Chad is the guest of honor.

He was received at the airport by Burkina Faso’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, with military honors and a performance of both national anthems.

The two presidents later held a private meeting to discuss bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen ties between their nations.
