Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Security has issued a stern warning against the publication of social media content that glorifies terrorism.

In a communiqué released this week, Minister Mahamadou Sana emphasized that such posts threaten national security and could lead to prosecution.

The government says it is stepping up monitoring efforts to curb the spread of harmful narratives online.
