Burkina Faso’s Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has commended the courage and dedication of the Defense and Security Forces stationed in Barsalogho and Gabou, in the Centre-North region.

During a visit on Tuesday, Traoré praised their efforts in countering terrorism and securing the region, declaring, “Terrorism is dying, and victory is certain.”

The visit coincided with his Independence Day address, where he acknowledged their service as a source of national pride.
