There is concern in Burkina Faso, following the arrest of opposition politician Ablassé Ouédraogo on the evening of December 24.

The president of the Le Faso party was on the list of 12 people conscripted for deployment to the battlefield by the military government in November.

Two days after his arrest, his family and friends still have no news of him.
