The Burkinabe transitional president on Tuesday dismissed four soldiers from the army, based on decrees signed on February 9 by the Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly.
The affected individuals, Privates Ousseni Tassembedo, Mevis Armel Bamogo, and Private Roger Ouédraogo, face accusations of engaging in arms trafficking, fraud, theft, and the concealment of materials belonging to others and the army.
As Oge Obierika reports, President Ibrahim Traoré has firmly declared his commitment to not tolerate misconduct among government officials.
