Burkina Faso and Russia have signed a new framework agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, opening what officials describe as a new chapter in relations between Ouagadougou and Moscow.
Authorities say the agreement provides a structured foundation for expanding collaboration across key sectors, reinforcing diplomatic, economic, and strategic engagement between the two countries.
The move signals Burkina Faso’s continued effort to diversify its international partnerships, while Moscow consolidates its presence and influence across parts of West Africa.
