The Citizens’ Broom movement in Burkina Faso is demanding the immediate release of two activists, Rasmané Zinaba and Bassirou Badjo, who were forcibly conscripted a year ago.

Marking one year since their disappearance on February 20, the organization stated that their families have received no updates on their whereabouts.

The group denounces the situation, calling for transparency and the activists’ unconditional release.
