As part of intensifying the fight against corruption, Burkinabe President Captain Ibrahim Traoré met with the members of the Orientation Council of the Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions (CRD) on Monday, November 18, in Ouagadougou.
According to Ragnang-Newindé Isidore Tiemtore, Special Advisor to the President on Good Governance and Anti-Corruption, this meeting follows the official installation of the Orientation Council members on October 26.
The Commission, established by the Council of Ministers on July 24, 2024, and attached to the Office of the Head of State, is tasked with identifying and correcting dysfunctions in public administrations and monitoring the execution of judicial and administrative sanctions.
President Traoré emphasized his vision of combating corruption, which he views as a hindrance to national development.
He encouraged Council members to be agents of change, urging them to turn their words into concrete actions to improve the daily lives of the Burkinabe people.
