Benin is mourning the loss of Yves Chabi Kouaro, Minister of Secondary and Technical Education, who died in a car crash on Thursday.

The accident occurred near Parakou when his vehicle, reportedly speeding, attempted a faulty overtaking maneuver and collided with a heavy-duty truck.
