The Beninese army says it has successfully foiled a terrorist attack on a customs post in Gada, Alibori Region.
The attack, which occurred three days ago near Malanville on the Niger border, involved armed fighters attempting to overrun the facility.
Authorities have not disclosed casualties, but security in the region has been tightened following the incident.
