In Benin, the year 2026 will be marked by the simultaneous holding of presidential, legislative, and municipal elections.
Ahead of those elections, a delegation from the Opposition Consultation Framework met with the National Autonomous Electoral Commission (CENA) on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
The meeting, which was chaired by the chairman of CENA, Sacca Lafia, provided an opportunity to discuss the level of arrangements for organizing these upcoming elections, as well as concerns of the opposition.
