Authorities in Benin have issued a wanted notice for nine suspects over their alleged involvement in the December 7, 2025 attempted coup.
The National Digital Investigation Center announced on Friday that the individuals are being sought by the Republican Police, with a substantial reward offered for information leading to their arrest.
Among those named is Lieutenant Colonel Pascal Tigri of the Republican Guard, whom the state accuses of instigating the attack.
In a related development, Allasane Tigri, vice-president of the opposition Democrats party and a former minister, has been in pretrial detention since late January as part of the ongoing judicial investigation.
