The Beninese government has adjusted the charges against businessman Olivier Boko and former minister Oswald Homeky in connection with an attempted coup d’état.
Originally accused of conspiracy against state security, money laundering, and public official corruption, the charges have been slightly modified by the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses (CRIEF).
Preparations are underway for the highly anticipated trial, set to begin on January 21, 2025.
