In Benin, the national army has rolled out a free medical campaign to support residents of Kalale, a community recently struck by armed attacks.

Armed men stormed the area a few days ago, causing destruction, including the community health center, and leaving locals traumatized.

The initiative, which began on Tuesday, seeks to provide essential medical care to victims while also restoring confidence among residents.

Officials say the campaign is not only about offering relief but also about strengthening ties between the military and the civilian population.
