The AU has approved Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo’s proposal for mobile money interoperability throughout Africa.
This was at the recent AU Mid-Year Coordination Meeting, held in Accra and chaired by Mauritania’s President Mohamed Cheikh El Ghazouani.
The initiative aims to transform financial transactions and significantly boost intra-African trade and economic cooperation.
