The Burkinabe presidency says a new coup attempt has reportedly been foiled by the authorities.
Several alleged perpetrators including army officers are under arrest and helping with investigations.
The information was given by Captain Ibrahim Traoré on Tuesday, during a ceremony to raise the national colours.
