A Ghanaian policy analyst has commended former President John Mahama’s diplomatic approach in engaging Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso.
Speaking to WADR, Anthony Acquaye emphasized the need for a liberal strategy to reintegrate these nations into ECOWAS.
He noted that Mahama’s visits could foster dialogue and rebuild regional trust.
The three AES countries withdrew from ECOWAS, citing sovereignty concerns and security challenges.
