Algeria has directed the immediate return of its ambassador to Niger, signaling a diplomatic readjustment between the two countries. The decision was taken by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune following developments in bilateral engagements.
The move comes after Niger’s ambassador to Algiers officially resumed his duties, paving the way for renewed diplomatic exchanges between the two capitals.
Authorities say the step is aimed at normalizing relations and restoring cooperation, marking a fresh chapter in ties between Algiers and Niamey.
