Civil Society Organizations in Africa with support from Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR), West Africa Regional Office WARO have called for the promotion of legal migration and the protection of migrants.
The call was made during a panel discussion at the Forum on the Participation of NGOs in the 79th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights in the Gambian capital Banjul.
