Monday, September 16 marks the first anniversary of the creation of the Alliance of Sahel States, which later evolved into a confederation.
On this occasion, the current president of the AES, Colonel Assimi Goïta, highlighted the organization’s achievements in the fight against terrorism.
He also announced plans for the establishment of an investment bank and the introduction of a biometric passport across the AES region.
