In Liberia, the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission has cleared 28 current and former government officials of corruption allegations following a series of investigations.
The Commission says the decision came after a thorough review of the cases, which found insufficient evidence to support prosecution.
According to the LACC, the investigations formed part of its mandate to address corruption allegations involving public officials.
The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process in Liberia’s ongoing fight against corruption.
