In Liberia, former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf addressed the House of Representatives on Thursday, marking the first time a former head of state has spoken before the legislature in the country’s post-war era.

Her address focused on key reforms needed to strengthen national development and promote greater inclusivity in governance.

Sirleaf also highlighted Liberia’s ongoing efforts to address long-standing issues surrounding citizenship and political representation.
