The Côte d’Ivoire government has set the price of cocoa at 1,200 CFA francs per kilogram for the current mid-crop marketing season.
The new rate marks a sharp drop from the 2,800 CFA francs farmgate price established in October 2025.
Authorities say the revision reflects ongoing volatility on the international market as well as structural constraints affecting the sector.
