In Nigeria, the National Assembly has pledged stronger oversight and legal reforms to help the country maximise benefits from the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Lawmakers say they are committed to crafting legislation that will improve the business environment and enhance Nigeria’s competitiveness within the continental market.
The Legislature also aims to boost intra-African trade and stimulate broader economic growth through targeted reforms.
