Lawmakers in The Gambia have begun deliberations on the Investment and Export Promotion Agency Amendment Bill 2025.

The proposed legislation seeks to modernise the country’s investment framework, attract responsible investors, and create more employment opportunities.

Trade Minister Mod K. Ceesay presented the bill before the National Assembly on Tuesday in Banjul as part of broader economic reform efforts.
