In Senegal, a key development has emerged in the extradition case involving businessman and media executive Madiambal Diagne.

Diagne, who is currently in exile in France, appeared before the Versailles Court of Appeal over an extradition request filed several months ago by the Senegalese government.

On Tuesday, the court delivered its verdict, a decision described as favouring both the State of Senegal and Diagne, who is wanted on charges including money laundering.
