Niger Signs $179 Million Health Deal With US

Niger and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding on health cooperation aimed at combating several diseases and epidemics.

The agreement is valued at more than 179 million dollars, equivalent to nearly 100 billion CFA francs.

Authorities say the partnership is expected to strengthen Niger’s health response systems and improve efforts to tackle public health challenges.
