President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a new High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, relieving Baba Jamal of his post.
Mr Jamal is set to contest the Ayawaso East by-election following the death of Member of Parliament Nasser Mahama Toure.
Baba Sadiq, the High Commissioner-designate, is expected to represent Ghana’s interests in Nigeria and help strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
