The Independent Electoral Commission of The Gambia has concluded a two-day stakeholder training aimed at tackling misinformation ahead of the December 2026 elections.

The forum brought together representatives of political parties, the Gambia Police Force, civil society organisations, members of the media, and IEC officials.

The Commission says the initiative is part of broader efforts to safeguard the integrity and credibility of the electoral process.
