In Ghana, President John Mahama is set to present the 2026 State of the Nation Address to Parliament this Friday, February 27.
The address is expected to outline the current state of the country, assess progress made, and highlight the government’s key policy priorities for the year ahead.
He is anticipated to speak on major sectors including the economy, health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, as well as Ghana’s foreign relations and international commitments.
The State of the Nation Address is a constitutional requirement under Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, mandating the President to update Parliament on the state of the country.
