In Nigeria, Tunji Disu has formally assumed office as Acting Inspector-General of Police, following the resignation of Kayode Egbetokun.

The appointment marks a new chapter for the national police force.

Disu, who previously served as Assistant Inspector General, has pledged zero tolerance for corruption and impunity within the service.
