Togo has launched a new humanitarian assistance project aimed at supporting vulnerable populations across the country.
The initiative, officially inaugurated on Monday in Lomé by the National Civil Protection Agency, will provide support to internally displaced persons, refugees, stateless persons, asylum seekers, and host communities.
Funded by ECOWAS, the programme seeks to sustainably improve living conditions and strengthen social protection for those most at risk.
Authorities say the project reflects a broader commitment to inclusive development and regional solidarity in addressing humanitarian challenges.
