In Senegal, a vessel belonging to the Senegalese Navy capsized on Tuesday at the mouth of the Senegal River, leaving three sailors missing while ten others were rescued.
The incident was confirmed by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Armed Forces, which provided details on the unfolding situation.
According to authorities, the accident is believed to have been caused by heavy swells following a deterioration in weather conditions. Search and rescue operations remain ongoing as efforts continue to locate the missing sailors.
