Nigeria on Thursday marked Armed Forces Remembrance Day, with state officials and citizens coming together to honour fallen heroes.

Observed every January 15, the day pays tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of uniformed men and women who lost their lives defending the nation.

In Abuja and across the states, wreath-laying ceremonies were held as Nigeria renewed its commitment to peace, security, and national unity.
