In Liberia, opposition leaders have condemned the police indictment of organizers linked to violent demonstrations held in Monrovia on December 17, 2025, describing the move as an attack on democracy.
Those charged are Mulbah Morlu and Festus Logan, chairman and co-chair of the solidarity group STAND.
Police have filed multiple charges against them, including criminal solicitation, criminal conspiracy, rioting, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct, and obstructing highways and public passages.
