In Ghana, an Accra Circuit Court has sentenced 106 foreign nationals to prison for illegal entry.

Fifty-five of the convicted persons received 28-day prison terms, while 51 others were handed four-week sentences.

All the individuals pleaded guilty to the charges.

They are expected to be deported to their home countries after serving their jail terms, reflecting stricter enforcement of immigration laws.
