Mali’s Supreme Court Accounts Section has uncovered multiple irregularities in the financing of political parties, according to an audit report published earlier this week.
The report cites failures by several parties to submit mandatory financial statements, alongside other breaches of funding regulations.
Judicial authorities say the findings point to weak compliance and poor financial transparency across the political landscape.
The audit comes amid an ongoing political crackdown in Mali, where all political parties have been dissolved since May 2025.
