Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening trade, investment, and financial cooperation with Zambia.
The president is on a three-day state visit at the invitation of his Zambian counterpart, President Hakainde Hichilema.
Addressing lawmakers in Lusaka, President Mahama praised Zambia’s recent economic reforms, citing the stabilisation of the kwacha as a positive signal to investors, and expressed confidence in the country’s preparations for elections in 2026.
