President Adama Barrow has called on Gambians to uphold national unity and religious tolerance as the country marks the Christmas festivities.

In his message, the president highlighted the long-standing peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in The Gambia, describing it as a strength that must be preserved.

He urged citizens to work together to confront the economic challenges facing the country, stressing the importance of solidarity and mutual support.

President Barrow also reflected on The Gambia’s progress in 2025, praising the resilience and contributions of Gambians both at home and in the diaspora.
