The International Organization for Migration says more than 3.7 million people are currently living in displacement across Nigeria.

According to the agency, persistent conflict, violence, and climate-related disasters, particularly flooding, continue to force thousands of families from their homes.

The IOM notes that the growing number of displaced persons highlights the scale of the humanitarian challenge facing the country.

The organization is calling for stronger humanitarian coordination and sustained recovery efforts to address the situation.
