The Liberian Ministry of Labour has unveiled a strategic plan aimed at addressing rising unemployment, particularly among young people, while strengthening protections for workers in both the public and private sectors.
Speaking in Monrovia, Labour Minister Cooper Kruah reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enforcing the Decent Work Act of 2015.
The legislation outlines measures to improve labour standards and expand employment opportunities for Liberians.
Authorities say the initiative forms part of broader efforts to promote decent work and protect workers’ rights across the country.
